3. Membership

Membership is required to borrow books through Palavi Mobile Library.

Members agree to:

• Use the membership only for personal purposes.

4. Subscription & Payments

• Membership fees must be paid before activation.
• Payments can be made using UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or other supported payment methods.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable once the membership has been activated, except where required by law or approved under our Refund Policy.
• A refundable security deposit may be applicable for selected membership plans.

5. Security Deposit

If a refundable security deposit is collected:

• It will be refunded after membership cancellation.
• All borrowed books must be returned in good condition.
• There must be no pending fines, damages, or outstanding dues.
• Any applicable charges may be deducted from the security deposit before the remaining balance is refunded.
• Security deposit refunds are generally processed within 7–15 business days after verification.

6. Book Borrowing Rules

Members agree to:

• Return books on or before the due date.
• Take proper care of borrowed books.
• Not lend borrowed books to another person.
• Report any damaged books immediately upon receipt.

Late returns, loss, or damage may attract penalties in accordance with the library’s policies.

7. Book Availability

Book availability depends on current stock and demand.

Palavi Mobile Library does not guarantee that every requested book will always be available.

Alternative books may be suggested where appropriate.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Books are delivered within our service area.

Estimated delivery time is generally 3–7 business days, subject to availability and operational conditions.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather, traffic, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

9. Cancellation

Members may request cancellation of their subscription at any time.

Upon cancellation:

• Membership benefits will end.
• Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable.
• Eligible security deposits will be refunded according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are only considered in cases such as:

• Duplicate payment.
• Payment received but membership not activated.
• Technical payment errors.
• Service could not be provided due to our error.

All refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the transaction and are subject to verification and approval.

11. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate personal information.
• Use the platform lawfully.
• Respect library rules and regulations.
• Keep account credentials secure.
• Promptly report unauthorized account access.

12. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Misuse or abuse the platform.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website or app.
• Upload malicious software or viruses.
• Use another person’s account.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions.
• Copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission.
• Use automated tools or bots to access the platform.
• Violate applicable laws while using the service.

13. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Palavi Mobile Library website and mobile application, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Palavi Mobile Library or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
